ABOUT ME, ANDY YOUR INSTRUCTOR

I have always had a passion for cars and motor vehicles, starting as a bicycle mechanic, through to a qualified car mechanic then to my time serving in the Army, driving and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.

After leaving the Army I worked as a fire-fighter in Topsham's Fire and Rescue station, before leaving to join Exeter Airport's fire department, later going on to train fire engine drivers to drive in intense situations.

After 16 years of service at the airport, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a driving instructor which for me was the next natural step.

Starting out with RED driving school, I became an approved driving instructor, until recently where I become an independant driving instructor, where I really feel in my comfort zone.

The fulfilment I feel from being part of the road to my student's future is what drives my passion for teaching, and I hope that this website will convince you to take your lessons with me!
